Who we are

Sunshine Recreation was founded on the belief that people thrive when they have access to lifelong leisure opportunities—and that everyone deserves a safe, supportive place to recreate.

Founded by Savannah Seiple, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, who spent 12 years working in adaptive recreation in Washington State, Sunshine Recreation was created to offer an inclusive, affordable, and welcoming community for adults with disabilities to learn, build healthy habits, and form meaningful friendships.

Our mission is to engage adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in the Jacksonville community through thoughtfully designed adaptive recreation programs that support social, emotional, and physical well-being while fostering independence, life skills, and connection.
