Adaptive recreation refers to leisure, fitness, and social activities that are intentionally designed or modified to be accessible and enjoyable for individuals with disabilities. At Sunshine Recreation, our programs are designed specifically for adults with disabilities. All activities can be adapted to meet participants' mobility levels.

Yes, Sunshine Recreation has 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. The effective date of our exemption is August 26, 2025. Donations may be tax exempt.
